Megumi Miki, a dedicated but socially awkward otaku, dreams of sharing her passion for her favorite idol with like-minded friends. In an attempt to break out of her shell, she organizes an offline meeting with followers from social media. But instead of the fellow fans she expected, a rugged yakuza named Ichigo shows up, shaking Megumi's world with his unexpected passion for the same idol. Despite his intimidating exterior and the initial terror he instills, Ichigo proves to be a genuine, if overly protective, fan. Together, they navigate the world of idol fandom, from fan events to the creation of doujinshi, discovering that friendship can bloom in the most unlikely places.
