Futaba Igarashi is a small-statured but diligent and ambitious office worker in her second year at a trading company, determined to prove herself as a capable professional despite often being mistaken for a child due to her appearance. Her senpai, Harumi Takeda, is a large, boisterous, and somewhat rough-around-the-edges senior colleague who frequently teases her, pats her head, and treats her like a little sister, which constantly irritates her. Despite her complaints about his loud personality and annoying habits, Futaba finds herself interacting with him daily in the workplace. Their dynamic involves comedic moments arising from his overbearing yet caring attitude and her efforts to assert her independence and maturity.
