Haruka Toyama is a young girl with precognitive ability who is kidnapped by people seeking to exploit her. She uses that same power to find Mamoru Hijikata, a blind swordsman in the crowd. Haruka asks him to protect her for as long as she lives. Mamoru accepts after seeing the danger pursuing her and cuts down the immediate threat. Their escape begins a protection job against criminals who want Haruka's ability for themselves.
