Hitori Gotou, a painfully shy high school girl with dreams of becoming a rock star, has spent years practicing guitar alone, hoping it will help her make friends. Known as "Bocchi-chan" for her loner tendencies, her life takes a turn when she stumbles into Nijika Ijichi, a cheerful drummer, and joins her band, Kessoku Band. Alongside Ryo Yamada, a cool and quirky bassist, and Ikuyo Kita, an energetic singer, Hitori navigates the challenges of band life, from live performances to part-time jobs, all while battling her social anxiety.
