Daryl, a boy living in London, sang as a boy soprano in a choir from a young age but stops singing at the age of 16. He spends his days troubled by his own disability and complicated family relationships. Although he believes he will never sing again, various encounters lead him toward becoming the vocalist of a rock band. He forms connections with people like his classmate Jonathan, who joins as a guitarist after being invited to the band by Daryl. The group begins activities centered around Celtic punk music, which combines punk rock with Celtic elements, as they pursue growth through their shared band experiences.
