Suzuka Nonomura turns thirteen during what should be a happy birthday with her family. Intruders suddenly enter the home and murder her parents and siblings in front of her. She is shot but survives, carrying fragments of the attackers' words in her memory. The public is told she died so she can be protected. After losing her family, she resolves to pursue revenge against the people behind the attack.
