Suzu Arisugawa, raised traditionally by her grandfather, is a pure-hearted high school girl with a love for rakugo and a strict 6 p.m. curfew. Her sheltered life changes when she meets Sosuke Nomiya, a popular and kind-hearted boy from a neighboring boys’ school, on a train.
