In a future Japan, manga is burned and controlled by the authorities. Remu works as an officer who enforces that ban. His dull daily life changes after he reads manga for the first time. Famous works become sparks of resistance in a world built on censorship. The premise sets up a dystopian conflict where forbidden art can change people.
