Kei is a former yakuza arrested in Hawaii during the 1980s. He is sent to one of the most dangerous prisons in the United States. As a Japanese inmate, he must survive an extreme environment ruled by violence and prison factions. The setup follows his struggle to endure life behind bars. The focus is a harsh prison memoir adapted into manga form.
