On Coming of Age Day in 2020, a twenty-year-old woman heads out hoping to meet a certain boy again. At the same time, a young man of the same age is also searching for her. They were classmates in middle school and had always cared about each other without saying it aloud. Around them, four other young adults carry feelings of their own into the reunion. Six twenty-year-olds gather with love, hesitation, and old connections still unresolved.

Shu Kugo lives with Ryota, her stepfather, after losing her mother when she was young. As she grows older, she realizes that her feelings for him are romantic. Unable to suppress those feelings, she tries to find someone she could love more than him. She approaches a bright boy named Renki in the hope of forcing herself to move on. An impossible attachment leaves her torn between longing, guilt, and the chance of change.
