A man in the 21st century loses his wife after she lives with the burden of fading memory. He throws himself into the water with her body and expects death. Instead, he wakes in 1966 in the body of a second-year high school boy. There he meets his wife again as a classmate before their future together has happened. He tries to reach her once more while living inside a life that has been rewound.
