In the serene countryside, where ancient legends whisper through the trees, Taou Suganami, a young man more interested in money than magic, accepts a peculiar job offer to become a live-in chef for a "god" in an old mansion. However, he's unprepared for the enchanting reality that awaits him. The mansion is home to a Zashiki-warashi, a traditional Japanese spirit known to bring good fortune, who takes the form of a spirited young girl. As Taou makes offerings in the form of delicious dishes, he not only learns the art of cooking but also discovers the warmth of companionship and the magic hidden within everyday life.
