Uryū Kamihate, a high school student aiming for Kyoto University’s medical school, moves from an orphanage to live at Amagami Shrine after his mother’s death. The shrine’s head priest offers him a home on the condition that he becomes a son-in-law and inherits the shrine, with the potential bride being one of the priest’s three granddaughters: Yuna, Yae, or Asahi, all shrine maidens. Uryū, focused on his studies, is initially hesitant but begins living with the sisters, each with distinct personalities—Yuna’s warmth, Yae’s diligence, and Asahi’s playfulness. Their daily life involves shrine duties, school, and humorous interactions, with subtle romantic tensions emerging as Uryū grows closer to the sisters. The shrine’s financial struggles and occasional supernatural events tied to the gods add challenges to their evolving relationships.
