Chihiro Hatono enters high school with a love of Japanese rock. She brings a new guitar and joins the light music club. The club becomes the place where her musical ambitions first take shape. Other students bring their own attitudes and expectations to the band room. Her youth begins to revolve around practice, sound, and finding a place in music.
