In a near-future Japan, androids are treated as household appliances in daily life. Rikuo lives with a home android named Sammy and thinks of her in the usual way. A strange clue leads him and his friend Masaki to a cafe called Time of Eve. Inside, one rule forbids customers from distinguishing humans from androids. The people they meet there make both boys look at that boundary differently.
