Seiichi Gotō, a man with the ability to see spirits, discovers a suspiciously cheap apartment rumored to be haunted by a young girl’s ghost. Excited by the prospect, he moves in and meets Hinako Uehara, a timid ghost bound to the apartment, waiting for her brother’s return. Hinako tries to scare Seiichi away, but his fearless and eccentric personality leaves her flustered instead. The two begin an odd cohabitation, with Seiichi enthusiastically embracing the situation while Hinako struggles to adapt to his presence. Their daily interactions spark a comedic dynamic as they navigate the challenges of living together in the haunted space.

Takayoshi is a shy high school girl who has long harbored a crush on her handsome cousin, Fujitsugu, who moves in with her family to attend university. She’s thrilled at the chance to live under the same roof, but her excitement turns to chaos when she discovers his quirky, over-the-top personality and obsession with "little sisters," often roping her younger brother Naruka into cosplay antics. Alongside this trio, other eccentric characters—like Fujitsugu’s cousin Misao, who hides her own feelings—add to the mix of misunderstandings and hilarity.
