Iga is a 23-year-old who drops out of job hunting and starts working at a rental shop. He falls at first sight for Shirakawa, an older coworker. Other employees describe her as a strange woman who only reacts to obscure films. She and another coworker are treated as completely outside normal romantic interest. Iga keeps trying to approach her through work and movies despite the awkward distance.
