In the turbulent streets of 1863 Kyoto, during the waning days of the shogunate, young orphan Nio dreams of a better world despite the chaos and bloodshed surrounding him. His life takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Souji, members of the notorious Miburo—a group of ronin feared by many, yet destined to become the legendary Shinsengumi. Inspired by their resolve, Nio joins their ranks, determined to carve a path toward justice in a time of political upheaval and clashing ideals.
