Kyoho Mitsu, a towering over 2-meter-tall Japanese man with exceptional bad luck, arrives in America to chase his childhood dream of becoming a Major League Baseball player after facing rejections in Japan’s pro drafts, job offers, and even romance. Despite missing a tryout with the Arizona Snakes due to trouble, he gets a chance to join the Single-A Phoenix Hot Sands by hitting a massive home run in a game he stumbles into. Known as “Jai” for his giant stature, his raw batting power and gentle personality draw attention as he begins his journey in the minor leagues. He faces tough challenges, including rival players and the harsh realities of American baseball culture.
