College student Aki lives in a Tokyo apartment. A teenage-looking girl suddenly barges in and acts as if he should know her. He learns that she is actually Mill, his beloved pet cat from his home in Kyushu. Mill is an 86-year-old supernatural cat who can shift between cat and human forms. Aki must fit this strange companion into ordinary college life.
