Miko is a young shrine maiden who feels unable to help much with her family's spiritual work. She has little visible supernatural ability and struggles to see or banish spirits. At school, she encounters Kagura, a demon feeding on passion and love. She seals him, but the spell leaves him in a small, weakened form. Keeping him secret pulls her into a strange relationship between duty, temptation, and spirit trouble.
