Fushihara is a dedicated corporate worker, often staying late into the night, consumed by her demanding job. Akane transfers to a rural school and quickly finds friends who become precious to her. Then a punishment game leads to her death. When she wakes up, she is back on the day she first arrived. With that second chance, the faces around her start to look very different. She has to uncover what went wrong before the same fate reaches her again.
