Konatsu, a young girl from Akita, moves to Tokyo’s Sumida Ward, aiming to work as a cabaret club hostess but faces repeated rejections at interviews due to her youthful appearance. Dejected, she stumbles into a late-night dental clinic and reconnects with an older man she vaguely recalls as a childhood friend, who now runs the practice. After accidentally damaging equipment at a hostess club, she incurs a 3-million-yen debt, forcing her to work as a dental assistant under the dentist’s supervision to repay it. Konatsu, still clinging to her dream of becoming a hostess, navigates the chaotic nightlife of Kinshicho while adapting to her new role. Her earnest but clumsy efforts lead to humorous mishaps and unexpected bonds with the clinic’s quirky staff and patrons.

Shun was once known as a skilled soccer player in middle school. An injury leaves him unable to play or take part in physical activity. In high school, he grows tired of being asked to join clubs. After he says he only wants to go home, Naoki invites him into a club built around that very wish. Their daily walks home become the center of a gentle school romance.
