In the wake of Japan's first human spaceflight disaster, Asumi Kamogawa, a young girl who lost her mother in the tragedy, dreams of becoming an astronaut. Guided by the memory of her father, a former rocket engineer, and a mysterious mentor known as "Mr. Lion," Asumi enrolls in Tokyo Space Academy, a school dedicated to training the next generation of space explorers. Alongside her classmates—each with their own aspirations and struggles—Asumi faces rigorous challenges, forging bonds that help her confront her past and reach for the stars.
