Michiru Mochizuki visits a restaurant with her friend Chiya Takekawa to celebrate her birthday. After she eats a special dessert, a song from the owner makes cakes rain from the sky. The dessert contained a witch berry, leaving Michiru cursed and possessed by a witch. Ten boys who ate star grapes tied to the berry are also cursed when they come into contact with her. Her birthday outing turns into a supernatural comedy built around sweets, magic, and accidental trouble.

Beat dreams of becoming the Golden Hero of Totia. He makes a pact with his best friend Rice to defeat the demon king together. A twist of fate pulls him away from that original goal. Beat ends up fighting beside Rice to protect demons instead. Their choice puts them against the nation that once defined his dream.
