Sota Suzuki, a short high school student and member of the boys’ volleyball team, grapples with his unfulfilled dream of becoming a spiker due to his height. He catches the attention of Asahi Shinonome, a tall and skilled player from the girls’ volleyball team, who admires his abilities. Impressed, Asahi insists on nightly one-on-one practice sessions with Sota, sparking a connection between them. Sota, who had settled into the role of libero and grown accustomed to giving up on his ambitions, begins to confront his insecurities. Through their interactions and shared passion for volleyball, Sota faces choices about embracing his limitations or striving to become someone worthy of standing beside Asahi.
