Hajime Kitazawa, the ace pitcher of Mihara Island’s only high school baseball team, faces a crisis when a volcanic eruption forces all islanders to evacuate to Tokyo. His former teammate Yukio Kobayakawa informs him that their baseball club has been disbanded due to the disaster. Determined to keep their dreams alive, Hajime and his scattered teammates enroll in different Tokyo high schools, each joining new baseball teams to pursue their passion. The group navigates the challenges of adapting to urban life and competing against formidable opponents, with Hajime striving to lead his new team despite the odds.
