Sora Kashiwagi, a high school student, receives a large package from his self-proclaimed adventurer father, containing a palm-sized mummy he names Mii-kun. Initially wary due to his father’s history of strange gifts, Sora quickly warms to the timid, soft, and expressive Mii-kun, deciding to care for him like a pet. Sora’s best friend, Tetsuo, helps keep Mii-kun a secret at school, where the mummy’s restlessness leads to comedic mishaps. Their household, including a mysterious dog named Pochi, adjusts to Mii-kun’s presence as Sora documents his observations in a journal. The group navigates lighthearted daily adventures, with Mii-kun’s adorable antics fostering a growing bond between them.
