In an Edo Japan conquered by aliens, a silver-haired samurai runs an odd-jobs shop. He meets a serious teenager while helping rescue the boy's sister from an alien group. The teenager becomes his apprentice and joins him in taking paid requests around town. They later rescue a powerful alien girl from a criminal group. Their small workplace becomes a chaotic home for jobs that mix samurai life, science comedy, and street trouble.
