Hibiki, a high school drummer with a passion for music, never imagined she'd end up in a mixed band with Sho, an infuriating orange-haired guitarist-vocalist, and Ritsu, a mature and elite bassist. Both Hibiki and Sho are reluctant to team up, but they're undeniably drawn to each other's sound. To keep things strictly professional, they set an unbreakable rule: no romance within the band, or it's instant disbandment. Convinced that their love is only for the music, they dive into their shared dream, but as they spend more time together, the line between passion for music and something deeper begins to blur.
