Ten-year-old Shoma loses his parents and is taken in by the Tomaru family. He begins living with Kokoro, his older cousin, in the same household. Seven years later, Shoma has grown into a strikingly beautiful boy who tries to keep his life with Kokoro calm. People around him still direct unwanted attention and malice toward him. The early tension comes from Shoma's effort to protect his home life while darker feelings grow inside him.
