Michiro is a lethargic high school student, drifting through life until he encounters Daichi, a younger boy with the magical ability to hear the voices of animals and objects. Michiro, who once possessed similar powers but lost them, is both drawn to and reminded of his past by Daichi. As they grow closer, Michiro grapples with his feelings of loss and envy, while Daichi faces the challenges of his unique gift.
