Konoha Inoue, a former teen author, is a member of his high school’s literature club, led by Tōko Amano, a quirky senior who eats stories as a supernatural being. When cryptic notes with words like “hate” and “ghost” or mysterious numbers appear in the club’s love advice mailbox, Tōko eagerly investigates, pulling Konoha along. They encounter a girl named Kayano Kujō, who claims to be dead, sparking a puzzling mystery. As they dig deeper, they meet Hotaru Amamiya, a girl identical to Kayano, complicating their search for answers. The duo navigates school life, unraveling secrets tied to these girls and the cryptic messages, blending comedy and bittersweet intrigue.
