Taro Sakamoto, once a legendary hitman feared by villains and admired by assassins, now runs a small convenience store with his wife, Aoi, and their young daughter, Hana, in suburban Tokyo. After falling in love with Aoi, he retires from his violent past, vowing never to kill again, and embraces a peaceful, family-oriented life. His tranquil days are disrupted when a former associate visits, demanding his return to the assassin world or face death. Sakamoto, despite his now-portly appearance, relies on his unmatched combat skills to protect his family without breaking his no-kill promise. Alongside him, Shin Asakura, a young assassin with telepathic abilities, joins the family’s store, adding to the dynamic as they fend off threats from Sakamoto’s past.
