Yuka Oomae, a 29-year-old woman, returns to her hometown in Osaka after a breakup with her long-term boyfriend, seeking comfort but finding tension with her family. Her mother mandates that she live with her 25-year-old sister, Sumika, in Tokyo, leading to a shared life filled with sibling dynamics. Yuka, once an aspiring illustrator, takes a job at a small printing company while grappling with her past relationship and new emotional connections. Sumika, more carefree, works at a furniture store and navigates her own complicated romantic ties from Osaka. Together, the sisters confront personal growth, family expectations, and their individual paths in a women-only household.
