Haiji inherits a mountain cabin after her eccentric grandfather dies. Her grandfather once worked with Kirishima, a man who does not match her idea of a mountaineer. Haiji decides to visit the cabin herself. The climb is harsher than she expected. When she finally arrives, the view changes how she thinks about her future.

Aoi Yukimura, a shy and indoorsy high school girl, has always preferred the comfort of her room, haunted by a childhood fear of heights. Her quiet life is upended when she reunites with Hinata Kuraue, her energetic and adventurous childhood friend, who drags her into the world of mountain climbing. Starting with small hikes, Aoi rediscovers the joy of nature and the thrill of reaching new summits, joined by Kaede Saitou, a seasoned climber, and Kokona Aoba, a cheerful beginner.
