Tsumugi, a middle school girl from a humble background, moves into a luxurious high-rise apartment after her uncle offers his place while he's abroad. Here, she encounters two very different boys from her new elite school: Hayate, the fierce and somewhat aloof "mad dog" from the penthouse, and Kei, the princely and kind-hearted boy from the same floor. As Tsumugi navigates her new life among the rich and the privileged, she finds herself caught in a whirlwind of emotions, friendship, and first love. Dealing with class differences, personal insecurities, and the complexities of adolescence, Tsumugi learns about herself and the world around her.

Nene is a ten-year-old elementary school student who enjoys her friends and school life. She wonders how people find their dreams for the future. One day she meets a popular actor named Taki. That encounter leads her toward the entertainment world, a place she never imagined entering. Her first steps center on believing in herself while discovering work, ambition, and early feelings.

Hanabi is a sixth grader worried that the boys and girls in her class do not get along. A recorder test pairs her with Yuto, and their practice changes after they witness a teacher kissing a partner. Their own sudden kiss makes them grow closer. Classmate Cocoa tries to disrupt the test and blame Hanabi when Hanabi refuses to join in. Yuto helps clear the trouble, and the two begin dating.
