Tsubomi Tachibana, an 11-year-old fifth grader, navigates the changes of puberty while living in a small town. After her mother’s pregnancy sparks a close friendship with Saya, Tsubomi experiences her first period, prompting new questions about her body. Her friends Yae and Rea also face physical changes, like buying bras and noticing body hair, as they explore their growing awareness of adulthood. Tsubomi develops a shy attraction to a boy named Daiki, feeling flustered in his presence without understanding why.
