In a Tokyo neighborhood with a view of the Skytree, college student Miku Shimizu works part-time at a funeral home, where she possesses a unique ability she’s had since childhood. This gift catches the attention of Urushibara, a sharp-tongued yet skilled funeral coordinator, who enlists Miku to assist with "special" funerals. Together, they handle cases steeped in mystery and emotion, such as a pregnant woman appearing at a service or a young woman missing a finger, each story revealing the quiet miracles that unfold in the final moments of farewell. As Miku grows into her role, she navigates the delicate balance of life and death, finding meaning in the connections she helps forge between the living and the departed.
