Kudo Chika is a tough, misunderstood delinquent who joins the struggling koto club at Tokise High School, led by the earnest but inexperienced Kurata Takezo. Alongside Hozuki Satowa, a prodigy with a troubled past tied to the traditional Japanese koto, they work to revive the nearly defunct club. Together, this unlikely trio recruits a quirky group of friends, each bringing their own strengths and struggles. Through dedication and teamwork, they aim to master the koto and compete at the national level.
