Aoi used to watch Shono practice with the track club after school because she liked him. Before a meet, he said he wanted to talk, then disappeared from her life. Years later, she enters high school and meets him again after three years. He has changed during time in Hokkaido, where family trouble left him living roughly. Even knowing he has a girlfriend, Aoi struggles with wanting her feelings to reach him.
