Hoshi is a quiet Japanese teacher in charge of a class at a girls' high school. His students fill the class journal with a strange picture word game. He becomes puzzled by their drawings while handling ordinary school duties. Campus oddities, student requests, and casual exchanges with colleagues keep interrupting his routine.
