Sakura Misaki works at a publishing company and meets Hanzo Jinnai during a company drinking party. Hanzo runs an antique shop but was trained in high-level cooking at a restaurant in Kitakyushu. Sakura sees that his food can move people with simple ingredients and flexible ideas. She considers making a cookbook under his supervision. To understand him better, she follows his daily life and sees how his cooking helps the people around him.
