Kiri is a twenty-five-year-old office worker in her third year on the job. She is exhausted by poor work performance, harassment at the office, and a controlling boyfriend. A letter arrives during days when she lives only by trying to be useful to others. Inside is a card that changes how she thinks about freedom. She decides to stop only giving herself away and begins settling what she has left undone.
