Mikako is a seventeen-year-old high school student with no clear plans for love or the future. A seat change places her next to Midorikawa, an unusual classmate who still uses a red pencil. At first she pays little attention to him. Their connection begins to shift when they learn that they like the same band. Her remaining high school days unfold through uncertain feelings and small changes in everyday life.
