Fumino and her younger brother lose their parents and move from one relative to another. Exhausted by that life, Fumino decides to leave school and work to support him. While the siblings sit on a park bench, her teacher appears. He agrees to her demand that he marry her and support them both. The sudden proposal creates an uneasy household setup between a student, her brother, and a teacher.
