An office worker looks forward to stopping at a convenience store on her way home. Shibasaki is a poker-faced high school student working there part-time. For reasons he does not fully show, she unsettles him whenever they meet. Both try to look composed while wanting recognition, comfort, or connection. Their brief visits turn into a pattern of missed signals.
