ジオと黄金と禁じられた魔法

Geo is a young mage training every day under his teacher Iregoura. His senior fellow apprentice Gin visits after a long absence. Geo sees Gin use magic powerful enough to fell a huge tree in an instant. He asks to learn the same kind of magic but is told he is still immature. The early conflict follows Geo's impatience as an apprentice who wants stronger magic.
