Ritsu was born unable to hear, though he can sense that sounds exist. Pitch and melody remain beyond his reach. Even so, he loves the piano and keeps living alongside music. His days begin to change as music connects him with other people. The early premise focuses on a deaf pianist seeking connection through sound he experiences differently.
