Toru Amuro is pursuing an escaped serial bomber. A masked figure plants an explosive that kills the fugitive and leaves Amuro trapped with a bomb around his neck. Unable to move freely, Amuro calls Conan for help. At the same time, Detective Sato appears in Shibuya wearing a wedding dress. The early conflict links a bombing case with a public event in the city.
